Measured exposes a customer-facing remote MCP server that lets supported AI clients query your Measured data and call Measured tools through the Model Context Protocol.

Before you start

You will need:
  • A Measured account with MCP access enabled.
  • The Measured MCP server URL: https://mcp.measured.com/mcp.
  • Permission in your AI client workspace to add a custom connector, integration, or MCP server.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Some of the steps in the provider guides usually require an admin or owner role.
  • Measured’s MCP server uses OAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration (DCR), so supported clients register themselves automatically — there is no client ID or secret to copy. You will be prompted to sign in to Measured the first time you connect. Use your existing Measured login credentials on the sign-in screen — it’s the same login you use for accessing Portal.
Remote MCP connector support is rolling out across providers and is often gated to paid, Team, or Enterprise plans. If you do not see the option described in a provider guide, check your plan and admin settings, or contact your provider’s support.

Provider guides

Claude.ai

Add Measured as a Custom Connector in Claude (Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise).

ChatGPT

Add Measured as a Connector in ChatGPT (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu).

Microsoft Copilot

Connect Measured to Copilot Studio agents and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Gemini Enterprise

Add Measured as a Tool in Gemini Enterprise / Agentspace.

Troubleshooting

  • “Connector failed to authenticate” — Make sure you signed in with a Measured user that has MCP access. Remove and re-add the connector to retry OAuth.
  • “No tools available” — Confirm the connector or tool is enabled in the current chat/agent and that your Measured role grants access to the underlying data.
  • Option to add an MCP server is missing — Remote MCP connectors are gated to specific plans (Claude Pro+, ChatGPT Plus+, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini Enterprise). Verify your plan and that an admin has not disabled custom connectors.
  • Still stuck? — Contact your Measured representative with the client name, error message, and approximate time of the failure.
